annual works outing 2018
On July 26, 2018, the flexlog employees were on an adventurous company outing in the Black Forest. With a varied program from good food and refreshments in the river to a sporty bike tour, there was something for everyone.
Fresh and cheerful, the group met at 8 a.m. with bicycles at the main train station. After the bicycles were loaded into the transporter through a logistical masterpiece, characterized by a lot of Tetris experience, we were able to strengthen ourselves with an extensive breakfast in the Hotel Löwe am Tiergarten.
After the enjoyable strengthening, we continued with the S-Bahn to Raumünzach, where our riverbed hike started with a little test of courage: Our guide let (almost) everyone in the group abseil from a bridge to the river bed of the Murg. From there we went up the river on foot, sometimes along the river and sometimes through the middle of the river. Because of the high temperatures (36 ° C) most of them were very welcome to cool off in the river.
A cozy Vesper awaited us after the adventure in the river to gather strength again for the sporty bike tour to Würmersheim. The route was a total of 47 km and led us past numerous beautiful views. A short break in between due to the need for ice kept everyone in a good mood.
After the strenuous stretch, we were very happy to arrive at the barbecue area in Würmersheim safe and complete. There we could end the day comfortably with a variety of grilled food and beer after work. We thank you for the excellent organization and look forward to the next adventure!

Our automated guided vehicle system "Herbie" is not only cheap and flexible, but also easy to put into operation. Two herbies have recently been available in our offices for test and demonstration purposes. So you can now experience all the advantages and possibilities that our Herbie has to offer live.
At the end of 2018, our ZIM project with the Institute for Integrated Production in Hanover was approved. Since then we have been working together on our plug and play concept for our transport assistant Herbie.
