Distributed controlled conveyor technology
One of the most important requirements that companies currently face in logistics are high flexibility, smooth running, and low error and failure rates. In addition, a high degree of individual extensibility and interchangeability of the conveying components is to be made possible. The concept of a flexible conveyor system is conceivably simple: Individual conveyor modules are plugged together and connected to each other as in a modular system using plug-and-play. Once connected to the power supply, the modules are immediately ready for use. From this moment, the material flow is completely controlled by a decentralized logic. The construction of a conveyor is thus child-friendly, almost as simple as putting together LEGO® stones.
